Grief and Loss
Grief is deeply personal and can take many forms. Whether you are mourning a loved one, navigating ambiguous loss, or adjusting to life after a major change, I offer a compassionate space to process and heal at your own pace.
Chronic Illness
Living with a chronic illness can feel isolating. My approach explores how your illness has shaped your identity and experience of the world, while making plenty of space for all of the other things that make you you. I have experience with rare and misunderstood conditions, such as lipedema, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, fibromyalgia, lichens sclerosis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and trigeminal neuralgia.
Change—whether expected or sudden—can bring uncertainty, loss, and identity shifts. Whether you are adjusting to a new career, relationship changes, becoming a caregiver, becoming an empty-nester, or exploring your evolving sense of self, I help clients find stability and clarity during life’s transitions.
Life Transitions
Complex Trauma
Healing from long-term, repeated trauma requires a compassionate, body-aware approach. Whether from childhood experiences, relational wounds, systemic oppression, or ongoing stress, I help clients process trauma at the level of the nervous system, fostering resilience and self-trust.
Body Oppression
If you have a body that does not conform to societal expectations—of size, ability, race, gender, beauty, etc.—you have been subject to body oppression. Most of us internalize this oppression and turn on our bodies to try to make our them conform however we can. I support folks in unlearning that oppression and moving toward Body Liberation, where all bodies are valued just as they are.
In addition to my clinical experience in these areas, I have lived experience with mental and physical disabilities, ambiguous loss, death and dying, caregiving, career changes, body image and eating concerns, weight discrimination, and blended families.
